Crossmen Productions is eXcited to announce that John Meehan will serve as Corps Director for the 2027 Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps. In this role, John will lead all on-the-field activities while continuing to serve as the corps’ Music Arranger, Composer and Coordinator.
John begins his second season with the Crossmen and brings more than three decades of experience in performance design, music education and organizational leadership. A member of the Drum Corps International Hall of Fame, he is widely recognized for his commitment to artistic excellence, education and meaningful performer experiences.
“John brings an extraordinary combination of experience, creativity and genuine care for our performers,” said David Borland, President of the Crossmen Productions Board of Directors. “During his first season with the Crossmen, he made an exceptional impact and demonstrated a deep commitment to the development and eXperience of our performers, as well as the continued growth of the organization. We are eXcited to have him expand that impact by leading our on-the-field activities and helping us continue to create life-changing experiences.”
John’s expanded role will provide unified leadership across the corps’ instructional and performance activities as the Crossmen prepare for the 2027 season. His continued leadership will build upon the foundation established during his first season while supporting the corps’ ongoing commitment to excellence, education, and performer development.
