Zane Franco

Instructor

Zane Franco grew up in Western New York where he started his colorguard career in 2009 at Jamestown High School. After marching alto saxophone in band his freshman year, Zane decided to audition for winterguard that upcoming season. From that first season came his strong passion for the marching arts. He continued to march winterguard at Jamestown High School from 2009-2013, and in 2013 received a WGI A Class Silver Medal. Next, Zane received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from The State University of New York at Fredonia. While completing his undergraduate degree, Zane furthered his marching arts career at The Cadets. He marched in the CBCCG from 2014-2016. He also continued to give back to his high school program as a technician, choreographer, and show designer for the junior varsity guard.

Zane now lives in the Atlanta area and is currently finishing up a masters degree in Music Education at Georgia State University while teaching BOA Super Regional Finalist The Pride of Mill Creek Marching Band. Zane also joined Paramount and marched in the 2018-2019 cast. He will be working with Jamestown High School Winterguard as a choreographer and Mill Creek High School Winterguard as an instructor for the 2019-2020 season! Outside of the marching arts, Zane enjoys drinking coffee, hiking, playing volleyball, and watching movies. He is ecstatic to be joining the 2020 BCG staff for his second year with Crossmen!
