Jacob Daniel


Jacob Daniel is a freelance tuba player and music educator throughout the Austin, TX area. He began his marching career at the age of 17 as a contra player for Carolina Crown, marching during the 2010, 2011, and 2013 seasons. He completed his time as a performer in 2014, aging out at Blue Devils B.

He completed a BM in Music Education at East Carolina University and continued his education at the University of Minnesota, where he earned a MM in Tuba Performance. Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge from performing in world-class orchestras including the Minnesota Orchestra, Royal Winnipeg Ballet Orchestra, Mankato Symphony Orchestra, and The Legend of Zelda touring orchestra. He continues to remain an active educator and designer in the marching arts and has taught successful ensembles including the Irondale HS Marching Band, Hastings HS Marching Band, and River City Rhythm DBC. 

Jacob is currently a private teacher at Belton HS. 

This will be his third year with the Crossmen!
