Zachary Dommenge

Zachary Dommenge returns to the Crossmen as a member of the Brass staff for the

2025 season. A native of Leander, Texas, Zach began his drum corps journey with the

Crossmen in 2022 before marching with the Boston Crusaders from 2023–2025. During

his time with the Crusaders, he served as Tuba Section Leader for two seasons and

was part of the corps’ 2025 DCI World Championship and Jim Ott Best Brass Award.

Zach is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education at Texas State University and

serves as Principal Tuba in the Symphonic Winds ensemble. He has also been a

section leader in the Bobcat Marching Band and a founding member of the Goldstar

Society, supporting university leadership and events.

Beyond drum corps, Zach teaches as a Brass and Visual Marching Technician at

Lockhart High School, where he helps young musicians develop strong fundamentals

and musical discipline.

Zach brings a wealth of performance experience, leadership, and enthusiasm for music

education to the Crossmen staff, and is excited to help the next generation of Bones

performers reach new heights both on and off the field.
