Stephen Simmermon

Steven Simmermon is a freelance vibraphonist/percussionist, arranger/composer, and educator from Arkansas who currently serves as the front ensemble coordinator for Bentonville high school, Bryant High School, and Lotus indoor percussion. In addition, Steven runs a private lessons studio where he teaches students in person as well online.

Steven Graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in Music Performance under the instruction of Dr. Blake Tyson. Following high school, Steven was a marimba player for the Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps from 2019 to 2021 as well as a marimba player for Music City Mystique in 2023.

Steven’s ultimate goal is to push the vibraphone into more mainstream styles of music while paying respect to the instrument’s traditions of the last 100 years.
