Mike McEvoy

Mike McEvoy was born in Chicago Illinois and began his drum corps career marching

tuba with Phantom Regiment in 2016. He continued with Carolina Crown in 2017,

Crossmen in 2018, and aged out with a world championship at the Blue Devils in 2019.

Mike holds an Associate in Arts degree from Joliet Junior College, where he studied

tuba.

After and during drum corps, Mike began teaching, serving at Lake Central High School

in Indiana and later at McKinney North High School in North Texas. He currently resides

in Denton, Texas, where he is finishing his Bachelor’s degree in Event Design at the

University of North Texas. Mike remains active in the marching arts, teaching and

mentoring the next generation of performers.
