McKenna Turechek

Hi! I'm McKenna (:

I'm 27 years old, and i'm from Connecticut. My colorguard journey began at Trumbull High School from which I graduated in 2017. I completed 4 wonderful years of marching band and winter guard there! I spent the following summer with The Cadets- my first and only season of DCI. I loved it, but where I really found my niche in this activity was winter guard. Winter 2018 I marched Alter Ego, and I have spent every season with Fusion Winter Guard since, ending my career on an amazing note in 2026! Now that my competitive marching career is over, I am studying design at SUNY Empire! Summer 2026 was my first year spent teaching DCI- and I couldn't have asked for anything better than what I experienced at The Crossmen! I am so excited to return to this organization and meet new faces and kick off an amazing 2027 season! Go Bones!
