Mason Daffinee
Visual Designer

Mason Daffinee is a visual designer, music educator, and military spouse originally from Binghamton, New York.
He began his marching career with Spectrum Drum & Bugle Corps before performing with the Phantom Regiment from 1999 to 2002, later serving on the Regiment’s brass staff for thirteen seasons. He earned degrees in music performance and education from Ithaca College and went on to tour internationally with the Tony Award–winning production Blast!.
As an educator, Mason taught in both New York and Texas, including three years at Hebron High School and seven years as Associate Director of Bands at Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio. While at Reagan, he began designing drill in 2018, and his work has since been featured at the UIL State Marching Contest, Bands of America Regionals, Super Regionals, Grand Nationals, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
In addition to his work with school programs, Mason has designed for ensembles at the highest levels of the marching arts, including The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps and the Yokohama Inspires Drum & Bugle Corps in Japan.
He currently resides in Schwedelbach, Germany, where he supports his wife Jennifer, a Bandsman in the United States Air Forces in Europe Band at Ramstein Air Base.
