Lucas Smith

Lucas Smith is a native of Northern Virginia and has been playing cymbals for 10 years. After graduating from high school, Lucas went on to march WGI as a member of the George Mason Indoor Drumline from 2018-2022, and DCI with the Madison Scouts Cymbal Line in 2018.

Lucas has been teaching cymbals since 2018 at Woodbridge HS, Freedom HS, Jersey Surf, Empyrean Percussion, Music City Drum Corps, and George Mason Indoor Drumline. In addition, he offers private lessons online with the hopes of building cymbal education and culture across the community.

Lucas graduated from George Mason University in 2021 with a B.A. degree in Marketing and currently works as the Senior Creative Strategist at MtoM Consulting in Falls Church, VA.
