Kyle Roller

Kyle Roller is an Assistant Percussion Director and private lesson instructor for Chisholm Trail

HS and cluster in Fort Worth, TX. Chisholm Trail HS competed in WGI and made open class

finals in Dayton during the 2025 season. He has taught drumline, private lessons, and

masterclasses in the Houston and DFW areas including Southlake Carroll HS, Cypress Falls HS,

Klein Forest HS, Wunderlich Intermediate, Tomball Intermediate, Tomball JH, Wells MS, and

Westfield HS. In addition to teaching JH and HS, Roller was a snare tech for the Guardians

Drum and Bugle Corps during the 2024 season. He studied at the University of North Texas

under Paul Rennick, Christopher Deane, Mark Ford, and Ed Smith.


At North Texas, Roller performed with the Green Brigade, wind studies ensembles, percussion

ensemble, afro cuban, and gamelan ensembles. He was also a member of the PASIC winning

2016 and 2017 snare ensembles. Roller marched Drum and Bugle Corps on snare drum with the

2015 Guardians, 2016 Boston Crusaders, and 2017-2018 Santa Clara Vanguard. During his time

with Santa Clara Vanguard, the group won two Fred Sanford high percussion awards.
