Jorge Santos

Jorge Santos is an educator and performer from San Antonio, Texas, currently serving as

Assistant Band Director at Rawlinson Middle School, where he directs the UIL

Sweepstakes-winning second band, beginner brass classes, and the jazz band, earning the

2025 First-Year Teacher of the Year award. A Texas State University alumnus with a Bachelor of

Music in Music Studies, Jorge performed as principal tuba in the Wind Symphony and

Symphony Orchestra and marched with the Bluecoats (2019–2021), Carolina Crown (2018),

and Crossmen (2016–2017). He has taught brass with the Troopers (2024) and Crossmen

(2022) Drum & Bugle Corps and designs drill for high school programs, including Stockdale

High School’s 2024 Area-qualifying production.
