In 7th grade, she joined the inaugural year of Lealta All Stars, an Independent Regional A Color Guard Team. As the organization was expanding, she also participated in their Summer Intensive Program involving more advanced choreography with sabre, rifle, flag, and dance. In the summer of 2016, Jazmin aged out and received a silver medal with the Concord Blue Devils. She studied under the direction of Scott Chandler, T.J. Doucette, Robby Jacobson, and David Ziehm. The color guard peaked with a nearly perfect score of 19.9 on finals night. In efforts to experience one more year with the organization, Jazmin auditioned and was accepted to be a part of Blue Devils International 2020, but the European tour was canceled due to the rise of Covid-19. Continuing her world class career, she joined Fantasia Winter Guard for the 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 seasons studying under Tim Mikan, Ashley Mikan, Robby Jacobson, Jose Peña, and Chris Velez.
