Jason Moore

Jason Moore is a low brass specialist out of Downingtown, PA originally from West Deptford, NJ with almost two decades of experience in the marching arts. Jason marched Euphonium at the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps in 2008 and 2009. Other marching experience includes four years of time in the West Chester University Golden Ram Marching Band where he was a section leader and Student Coordinator throughout his tenure.


Jason has been a brass and visual technician for many high school bands in Southeastern Pennsylvania starting in 2009. For seven years he was the Assistant Marching Band Director and Music Caption Head at Upper Darby High School in Drexel Hill, PA. While at UD, the marching band won championships in the Cavalcade of Bands and USBands circuits.


Currently, Jason is in his first year leading the winds section for the Great Valley Marching Patriots at Great Valley High School, in Malvern, PA. In addition to teaching marching band, Jason was a member of the brass team at Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps from 2015 to 2018, serving a variety of roles.


Jason attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania and studied Trombone with Matt Niess and Haim Avitsur and was a part of many ensembles including the Wind Ensemble as Principal Trombone and the Criterions Jazz Ensemble as Lead Trombone.

Outside of the marching arts, Jason is a freelance trombonist, conductor, composer/arranger throughout the Delaware Valley. He is also currently a Personal Banker for KeyBank in Exton, PA.

Jason is EXTREMELY excited to be back home with the Crosssmen. GO BONES!
