Ian Pilley

Ian Pilley currently serves as the Color Guard Director at The Colony high school

(2018-present). Under his direction, the TCHS color guard has been consistent WGI Regional finalists and a WGI World Championships semifinalist.

Ian’s performance experience includes Madison Scouts (2014-2015), Blue Stars (2016), JSU Center Stage (2014), Paramount (2015), and CGT Dallas (2016-2018). Following his performing career, Ian has taught with the Blue Stars (2017-2018), CGT (2020), Marcus HS (2023-present), and most recently Mirage Performance Ensembles (2025-present).

He resides in Carrollton, TX, where he enjoys spending time with his cats, photography, and video games.
