Hector Villanueva

Born and raised in the vibrant 956 area, Hector has been educating and collaborating with musicians in the Rio Grande Valley since 2012. He has taught at Sharyland High School since 2015, leading the drumline and jazz rhythm section while also providing expertise in audio electronics. In 2015-16 he has the opportunity to teach Timbre indoor percussion where he served as quad tech and assistant battery coordinator. Currently, Hector serves as the Battery Coordinator at Synergy Percussion Indoor, inspiring young musicians. Outside of music, he is a proud pet parent and enjoys showcasing his culinary skills.
