Ed Devlin

Ed is the owner of Devlin Visual Design which has been providing services to the marching arts since 1993. Ed currently is the Program Coordinator for the Drum Corps International (DCI) World Class Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. This will be Ed’s 14th year with the Crossmen 2000 – 2001, 2011 to present. He has previously designed for Jersey Surf, Citations Drum and Bugle Corps, The Boston Crusaders, Kiwanis Kavaliers, the 1998 & 2005 DCI Div. II Champion, East Coast Jazz and the 1995 DCI Division III Champion, Academie Musicale. Ed designs for many groups from all corners of the marching activity (drum corps, marching band, winter guard and indoor percussion), most notably for King Philip Regional High School, having now been on their staff for close to 30 years. King Philip is acknowledged as one of the premier Marching Band’s in the Northeast, having won Gold Medals and State and Regional Championships at every level during Ed’s tenure. Ed has judged for DCI, the New England Scholastic Band Association, ISSMA, Eastern Mass, The Florida Marching Band Championships, Has also judged Marching in Okayama, Okayama, Japan. Ed is currently the Director of the Blessed Sacrament Color Guard organization, a 501 3 (c) nonprofit organization. Ed has been with Blessed Sacrament since 1984 and the Director since 1994. Blessed Sacrament celebrated their 35th consecutive year as a WGI Independent World Class Finalist in 2014. Ed currently serves as the President of the Winter Guard International (WGI) Board of Directors. He became a member of the WGI Executive Committee in 2000 (serving terms as Secretary and Vice President) and has been a member of the WGI Board of Directors since 1995. In 2010, Ed was inducted into the Massachusetts Drum Corps Hall of Fame, into the WGI Hall of Fame in 2013, and the Crossmen Drum Corps Hall of Fame in 2018.
