Brass Arranger
Dr. Andrew Shanefield is thrilled to be returning to the Crossmen as brass composer/arranger and member of the design team. He has worked in similar programming, design, and caption positions for the Cadets, Cavaliers, Bluecoats, and Carolina Crown.
Drew serves as an instrumental music teacher for the School District of Haverford Township and is a former faculty member at Swarthmore College. He maintains a busy schedule as a composer, arranger, clinician and adjudicator for ensembles across the world. He is a performing artist/clinician for Yamaha band instruments.
Drew graduated from New York University in 1992. He received a Masters in Music Education degree from Queens College, a Masters in Music Performance from West Chester University, and a Doctorate in Higher Education from Widener University. He and his family reside in suburban Philadelphia.
