Colton Huebel

Colton Huebel, originally from Orange Texas, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical

Engineering with a minor in Music from Lamar University, later completing a Master’s of

Business Administration. He is currently based in Phoenix, Arizona, where he works as an

Electrical Engineer specializing in control systems and industrial manufacturing.

As a performer, Colton began his drum corps career with the Seattle Cascades (2015) before

marching with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps (2016–2017), and performing with

Monarch Independent Percussion (2017–2019).

Colton’s teaching experience includes serving as the cymbal instructor for Lamar University

(2016s–2017). He also worked as a cymbal/visual instructor with the Lumberton High School

Marching Band (2018–2019), Clear Creek Indoor Percussion (2019), and Monarch Independent

Percussion (2020).

Colton is thrilled to be back with the Crossmen, and excited to further grow the cymbal line's

legacy.
