Ari Lozano
Quad Instructor

Ari Lozano has been a percussion educator, composer, and arranger for over two decades and
is currently the Assistant Percussion Director at Richland High School in Fort Worth, Texas.
He attended The University of Houston and studied under Dr. Blake Wilkins and professor Alec
Warren. During his time there, he performed with the wind symphony, orchestra, and
award-winning U of H Percussion Ensemble winning the PASIC “Call for Tapes.” Ari marched
tenor drums for two years in drum corps many moons ago.
Ari is especially passionate about teaching the beginner-student and of course has a special
place in his heart for quad drumming. On the side, Ari is a roller coaster enthusiast, a BBQ
fanatic, and self-proclaimed film buff.
