Noah Cole is thrilled to join the Crossmen for his first season. His previous music education experience includes teaching at The Academy Drum Corps from 2018-2022 as bass tech and visual instructor for the battery. He has taught at various high schools around Florida as well as at Ancient City Ensemble, a percussion independent open group, in both musical and visual roles. He currently is the Education Director at Atlas Percussion, WGI Independent Open, based out of Jacksonville, Florida. 

Outside of the marching world, Noah is a PhD student at Florida State University, studying medieval history. His research focuses on medieval politics, religion, emotion, and intellectual history more broadly. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in history. Additionally, he works on metadata entry for Florida State University Special Collections & Archives. 

Noah began marching at the Sun Devils Drum and Bugle Corps, a DCA A class group, in 2013 and 2014. He joined Ancient City Ensemble in 2014 for his first indoor experience. In 2015 and 2016 he marched the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps in DCI World Class. Also in 2015 and 2016, he marched Atlanta Quest, in WGI World Class. In 2017, he aged out with the Cadets. He participated with these groups on bass drum.
