Kyle Marx


Kyle is an active judge and clinician for many indoor and marching band circuits, and a designer for bands, guards, and indoor percussion programs throughout the US. 

This will be Kyle’s first year on the Visual Staff for the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. Prior to teaching for the Crossmen, Kyle also spent summers teaching for the Phantom Regiment, Blue Knights and the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps. Kyle Marx was a member of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps from 2011 until 2013 as a Trumpet player. As an Alumnus of the Corps, Kyle joined the Scouts in New York City for the 2014 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. 

Outside of Drum Corps, Kyle Marx is the Assistant Band Director at Klein Oak High School in Spring, Texas. Prior to joining the Klein Oak band program, Kyle was a band director at Weiss High School in Pflugerville, Texas and at Westfield High School in Spring, Texas. 

Originally from Southeast Ohio, Kyle received his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Ohio University in 2015. While at Ohio University, Kyle served as a Music Section Leader for the “Marching 110”, a consistent member of the Wind Symphony and Co- Principal Trumpet of the Symphony Orchestra.
