While attending Miami University (OH) for Music Education and French Horn Performance, Kayla began her professional marching arts career in 2015 where she played mellophone at Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps. In 2016 and 2017, she joined the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps, winning a world championship in 2017. Kayla has worked with several marching ensembles including Lebanon High School Marching Band, Fairfield High School Marching Band, Cap City Indoor Percussion, Blue Devils B and Crossmen. 

Currently, Kayla is one of the Middle School Band Director's at Mason Middle School in Mason, OH. Outside of the school day, She works with the William Mason High School Marching Band, a repeating finalist group at the Bands of America National Championships. Kayla helps lead the visual program at Mason and works alongside with some of the biggest names in the activity. 

Kayla is so excited to be working with Crossmen's visual staff again this summer!
