Colby McClellan has been part of the marching activity since 2005. He began his drum corps career with Carolina Gold, winning three high percussion awards, and was the DCA Class A World Champion in 2012. Colby aged out of DCI as a member of the Madison Scouts. He marched three seasons of WGI with Wake Forest Independent, and finished his WGI marching career with Matrix.  

Colby has been an educator and designer for several schools throughout North Carolina, and Ohio. He currently serves as Battery Coordinator at Milford High School, a consistent WGI finalist. Colby has been teaching tenors at ConneXus (PIW) since 2015. Previously he was on staff at the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps.
