Brighton Barrineau

Brighton Barrineau is a freelance arranger, and designer, living in Columbia, South Carolina. After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Brighton joined the family business of real estate, working with JP & Associates Magnolia Group. During his time at USC, Brighton studied french horn with JD Shaw and played in the University Band and Symphonic Winds. 

Brighton has been involved in the drum corps community since 2014, concluding his marching experience as the mellophone section leader of The Cadets in 2019 and was awarded the Distinguished Service award. Brighton also marched mellophone at The Spirit of Atlanta (‘14) and The Casper Troopers (‘17). Brighton served on the visual staff for The Spirit of Atlanta for their 2021 season. In 2017 Brighton won the Blue Stars “En Corps” arranging contest and the corps played his arrangement of Shofukan by Snarky Puppy.
