Currently residing in Greenville, SC, Blake is a drill writer, designer, and educator for marching groups throughout the country. He is also an active choreographer and consultant, working in many capacities for a number of groups each season. Blake is also a regular judge and clinician for high school bands.

Blake began his drum corps career in 2005 with Carolina Crown, marching in the hornline from 2005-2008. He then served as Drum Major from 2009 -2010.

After finishing his marching career, Blake joined the visual staff at the Colts in 2011. He then spent 5 years on the visual team at the Madison Scouts, serving the last 3 as the visual caption head. In 2020, Blake is returning for his 4th season as the visual caption manager at the Crossmen.
