Volunteering at the Crossmen

Thank you for taking a moment to learn about volunteering for the Crossmen! All of the organizations in Drum Corps International depend on incredible year-round support from parents, alumni, and friends. Countless people have generously given their time, skills, and resources to allow the corps members to have the experience of a lifetime. The Crossmen are so grateful for everyone who has made it possible for our members to have the experience of their lives.  Every year, volunteers build great new friendships with each other, the staff, members, and alumni of the corps.

Current Information and News

Information for Spring Training and Tour Volunteering is new for 2010!  Please contact Evan Woods at volunteers@crossmen.org or fill out the online sign-up form if you are interested in contributing your time to make a difference for the members and staff of the Crossmen.

Main areas to help are driving, food service, uniforms, and medical services.  See Spring Training or Tour Volunteering pages for more information.

For the remaining Crossmen camps, the main areas of needs for these volunteering opportunities will be
  • Airport shuttles for members and staff, especially on Friday and Sunday
  • Food service throughout camp (on-site housing and food provided for all volunteers)
  • Uniform maintenance, inventory, and fitting
  • Administrative set-up, tear-down, and errands
For more details about volunteering for camps, check out the Camp Volunteering Information page.  If you can help with any of these areas, or if you have any questions about volunteering, please contact Evan Woods at volunteers@crossmen.org or through the Volunteer Camp Sign-Up Form.

The Crossmen Food Truck is undergoing repairs and renovations in Houston from March 6 - March 20.  More information...
