Ryan Jezierski
Ryan Jezierski is a native of the greater Houston area. He began his marching career with The Woodlands High School marching band, a consistent BOA regional, as well as national finalist. Ryan's drum corps career began with the Crossmen in 2000 after his junior year in high school. He stayed with the corps for a total of 5 seasons, including when Lee Beddis was percussion caption head from 2001 to 2004. All 5 seasons Ryan was section leader of the cymbal line and was awarded the Avedis Zildjian Cymbal Player of the Year award for the Crossmen, for each season.
Ryan is an active cymbal instructor and clinician in the greater Houston area. Most recently teaching at Klein and Klein Oak high schools. Klein having received awards for best cymbal line at multiple drum competitions. Ryan has also helped with programs at Dickinson, College Park, Cy Woods, and Spring high school.
Ryan is also the cymbal instructor for Percussion One, an independent non-profit group, founded and directed by Lamar Burkhalter. In addition to teaching, Ryan performs with the NFL Houston Texan's Bull Pep Band also directed by Lamar Burkhalter.
Ryan attended the University of Houston where he received bachelor's degrees in Philosophy as well as Sociology. He plans to attend law school next fall.
