Paul Bessetti

A native of Erie, Pennsylvania, and a Crossmen alum (2002), Paul Bessetti has been teaching trumpet at the Crossmen since July of 2009. Paul has consulted and worked for several high schools in the Kansas City area, where his groups received recognition both locally and nationally, including finalist performances and caption awards. In addition, Paul consults and designs for several marching bands, winter guards, and winter drumlines throughout MO and KS.

Currently, Paul is completing a Master’s Degree in Trumpet Performance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he also received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education (2006). Paul is an active teacher and performer in the Kansas City area, and (although he is taking a break to finish his studies) is a member of the Fountain City Brass Band, who are the current 4-time defending North American and 3-time US Open Champions, as well as being one of the top brass band’s in the world today. Paul is happy to be returning with the Crossmen in 2012.
