Marching Music eXtravaganza! Sponsored by Cool Off™ and Crossmen Productions Inc.
The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps is nearing the end of Spring Training, winding down a very productive 3 weeks and winding up for the 2010 FULL CIRCLE summer tour. The Spring Training culminates in a performance at the Marching Music eXtravaganza! on Friday June 18th starting at 7:30pm. The venue is the impressive Comalander Stadium at 12002 Jones-Maltsberger Road in San Antonio.
The event is a tribute to marching music groups and includes eXperience Day campers, the Alamo City Community Marching Band, and the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. Tickets are $10 at the gate, $5 for children under the age of 12. We look forward to sharing an evening of music and pageantry with the community of San Antonio.
Update:
We are saddened to announce that Revolution Drum and Bugle Corps has withdrawn from eXtravaganza! performance on Friday evening. We were informed that Revolution received generous support from their host community in Natalia, TX, and in an effort to strengthen and nurture that community relationship, have chosen not to participate in the June 18th eXtravaganza! event. We understand that it takes community support to keep a Drum Corps running and sometimes decisions have to be made that affect others but are best for the organization. We wish Revolution best of luck on their community performance.
