2013 Crossmen Protest Tour
Day 28, Thurssday July 11thWe had another full night on the floor last night due to staying in the same housing site at Mount Vernon. This is such a benefit to everyone it is hard to put into words. All 200 people in our traveling entourage can get a full 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep on their backs instead of dealing with trying to sleep sitting up for the ride and then setting up their sleeping gear in their designated room after we arrive for the balance of their rest time.
Show Day- Muscatine, IA
Housing- Mount Vernon HS,
Everyone is in good spirits and ready to debut the new closer tonight. The last two minutes of the show are radically different from what they were when we left San Antonio close to a month ago.
After ensemble we EPL and make the 60 mile journey to the Muscatine High School Stadium for tonight's competition. The performance was another gem and the crowd showed their appreciation. The ending brought them to their feet. It is clearer for them as we had anticipated.
After loading the equipment, snack and a little time to relax, we load the Gotta Go Trailways coaches and head the 200 miles for the next stop and housing site, Sparta HS in Sparta, WI.
