Fragile Tour Blog - 2012 Crossmen presented by Gotta Go Trailways.com
Tuesday morning is another spectacular clear dry and cool morning. We will get a lot done today. There is nothing but focused hard work happening here in Trafalgar. Polishing and cleaning drill, improving the ensemble musically and keeping our eye on the prize are the priorities. The staff is also doing a lot to prepare the members mentally for the task at hand. With the first full night in a bed for all 200 of us we are in the best spirits and health of the last month. You can feel everyone getting stronger and more focused. Sometimes I wonder if after a time with so much stress on tour if we don't plateau. We don't have that worry now. There is no stress. We are not moving each day. The drivers have been off since Monday morning. The food crew and all of our dedicated volunteers can get more rest and are in the best of spirits. This "happy place" permeates the corps. More smiles, more laughter and more focus.
After dinner the admin team, Ed Devlin and the captions meet about the logistics for the rest of the week. Finishing strong are the operative words.
After a great ensemble we have snack and lights out. It is more quiet earlier tonight than last night. There is some serious catching up on lost sleep going on. Good night Crossmen!
