Fragile Tour Blog - 2012 Crossmen presented by Gotta Go Trailways.com
Monday morning and we arrive at the FFA Leadership Camp inTrafalgar with the sun up and clear cool conditions. We wrestled with whether it would be best to keep the corps together in a common room like we have experienced all summer or to take advantage of the cabins with bunks in them. We settled on beds and better rest rather than preserving the status quo. Joe and Rico arrived with the souvie crew an hour before the convoy. They had everthing scoped out and situated prior to our arrival. The corps is amazed by the environment here. trails, a lake, woods, all of the things that you would imagine a summer camp grounds would have.
This will be a great place to prepare for our finals push. Three days of uninterupted rehearsal in a secluded environment. We will be able to focus on the task at hand. A strong finish to this "Fragile" journey is what is centering us this week. Enjoying the waning moments of each other's company is a by product. There is alittle more reflection going on about where we came from back in November and where we are heading come Thursday.
Joe found a place that could repair the RV hydraulics. We unhitch the cargo trailer remove our office essentials and drive the Moblie Command Center to nearby Franklin. We have a few days to get this mission accomplished and the FFA Center has plenty of area that we can set up temporary admin space.
Rehearsal is focused and energetic. We bring in a couple of light banks to suplement the ensemble field lighting. The admin team set them up and the results are favorable. Snack, some time for fellowship and lights out come quickly. Good night team Crossmen.
