Fragile Tour Blog-2012 Crossmen presented by Gotta Go Trailways.com- Day 46, Tuesday, July 31st
Fragile Tour Blog - 2012 Crossmen presented by Gotta Go Trailways.com
The five hour drive to Dublin, Ohio seemed short. We have great weather conditions today. It feels cold by comparison to last week's adventures. This makes for a comfortable productive but short rehearsal in preparation for the show tonight. Before we know it we are EPL ing and driving the short 10 minute drive to the show.
We warm up near the truck and head to the gate at the appointed time. The good sized stadium is pretty packed with spectators. There is a wide track and a wide green belt before you get from the stands to the field. The stadium is a lot less intimate than the confines of the stadium from last night. The corps has a great run and the spectators are applauding through out the show. There are a bunch that stand up after the ending rewarding the Crossmen for another solid job. After visiting with various members after the show I get the impression that it is our best run to date. The result shows us that it was.
Smores bars for snack and off we go to Pennsylvania. The ride is 375 miles tonight. The beauty though is that we will be at the Biglersville, PA housing site until Saturday. Another great night is complete. We are in this hunt and it feels good. We need to do our part and continue to work hard every day to improve as all of the corps around us competitively are on the same mission with the same focus. There is a real sense of purpose in the air at Crossmen central. We are a team on a mission.
