Fragile Tour Blog - 2012 Crossmen presented by Gotta Go Trailways.com
That was a long ride! The trucks and motorcoaches went via mostly all interstate. The RV and van tried the southern tier below TN route. Though shorter in distance it took over an hour longer. The convoy made it to the housing site an hour and a half before we did. I was happy to hear that they kept it well under the drivers maximum hour allotment. Our volunteer drivers needed to make a couple of extra coffee stops in order to maintain a good level of safety. This caution added some time to the journey. Better to be safe. Wake up is later this morning and the rehearsal day flies by! Tomorrow brings the biggest day of the summer with the DCI SE Regional in Atlanta. The venue is the same stadium that the Atlanta Falcons NFL Team has their home games. Last year the crowd was a record in paid attendance. This year is projected to break that record. I am sure that staff and members are looking forward to a great day tomorrow. Lights out, rest well Crossmen!
