Fragile Tour Blog - 2012 Crossmen presented by Gotta Go Trailways.com

Well here we are back at Southlake's Carroll HS. This was also our first housing site stop of the 2012 tour. All of our Dallas area parents and families are out in force supporting their Crossmen Team. We have extra hands on the food truck and for errands. This is such a blessing for the food crew and the admin team as it helps us spread the load. The special treats and amenities they provide boost everyone's spirits. We know that we will be in front of a friendly crowd tonight too. Eleven corps are in the line up so the Lake Highlands crowd is in for a treat. It is a hot one today so rehearsal does sap everyone's strength a bit. After rehearsal and EPL the corps finds the welcome comfort of our Gotta Go Trailways Motorcoaches a godsend.

Warm ups proceed as planned but negotiating the jammed lot with all of the front ensemble equipment is an adventure. We negotiate the obstacle course. Santos and his drum set cart arrive at the gate intact after some rough offroading. We are greated with enthusiasm by the Texas home crowd. Our best performance to date is rewarded with a standing ovation. Love these Texas audiences! We load up and head back to southlake Carroll for a rehearsal day tomorrow. The days are clicking off the calendar.
