Fragile Tour Blog-2012 Crossmen presented by Gotta Go Trailways.com- Day 30, Sunday, July 15th
Fragile Tour Blog - 2012 Crossmen presented by Gotta Go Trailways.com
It is a beautiful Sunday morning in Owatonna! The corps is up at 8 and prepares to go to laundry at 10. Erik and I find our way to mass at 9:30.
The atmosphere is positive. After laundry the corps comes back ready to work. It is as normal around here as you can expect. One of the vet brass members walked by me and said, "No more 3:30 performance time for San Antonio." The Facebook message from yesterday about our motivation and demeanor was on the mark! They "were" ticked off for having to go on so early yesterday and they did what they needed to do to change it! Silent confidence is still bubbling to the surface. I just smiled and soaked it all in.
We have a great rehearsal day and EPL at 8 with a 9:30 pm departure. Everyone is buckled up by 9:24 pm and the convoy is rolling to St. Louis 6 minutes early! We have close to 500 miles to cover tonight and the drivers are well rested and prepared. The clock work actions of this corps is an awesome thing to behold.
