Fragile Tour Blog - 2012 Crossmen presented by Gotta Go Trailways.com
We are enjoying another great housing site with beautiful, cool and dry weather. You can tell that Salem isn't far from the Lake Michigan due to the number of sea birds hanging around the rehearsal fields. The typical rehearsal day gets underway with the field liners first up and to work followed by the scaffolding crew. The food crew is up and preparing breakfast at about the same time as the field liners stir. Next the whole corps is up running and taking care of the physical training portion of today's scheduled activities. Breakfast is next followed by visual block. The routine is natural as it mirrors any other rehearsal day.
The new improvements are the focus for today. We need to rep them and get them firmly under our belt. The ensemble rehearsal is another chance to see the new stuff first hand. I am really liking the new ending and the staff is very pleased with what they hear and see.
After snack and a little down time the corps is enjoying the luxury of 9 hours on the floor. We will be ready to debut our new stuff at our first competition in 4 days.
