Fragile Tour Blog-2012 Crossmen presented by Gotta Go Trailways.com

There is so much drum corps activity in New England that we are not having to make long drives every time we move this week. Tonight's drive is 40 miles to our housing site from the terminus of the Wakefield Parade! Today is a rehearsal day with a concentration on improving the back half of the show. Not having to move tonight helps everyone recharge by getting 8 hours on the floor instead of a long ride on the bus.

We made a lot of progress today. Program Coordinator, Ed Devlin and Program Consultant, Jaime Alvarez-Calderon are making notes and planning next weeks Monday through Wednesday's change and enhancement days that were placed on the schedule back in September. I am sure that they are coming up with some great revisions and additions for us. Another welcome face is visual consultant, Tom Strachan. Tom has over 40 years experience in the drum corps activity and it shows. He makes us instantly better with his enthusiastic approach to things. We had some time to visit in the RV after he spent a couple of days with our troops on the field. He was very complimentary of the state of affairs this year versus last when he came in. Tom is very pleased with what he was able to accomplish with our folks on the field.
