Crossmen Tour 37 "renewal" Day 26
Wednesday, July 13th- Shoreland Lutheran HS, Somers, WI - Paddock Lake, WI-Show Day
This goes down as the most gorgeous day of the 7 tours that I have experienced. It was hard to believe that it is July. The temperature was in the low 70's at its peak and low humidity to boot. Our members are walking around with hoodies on at breakfast. this is quite a change from 100 everyday for three weeks of spring training at Blossom.
The design team has added afew music and visual changes. The tune up process is well under way. We added the stands for the ballad flag backfield and the uniform zip flip. They will be in tonight. Today is so pleasant that the work goes by with everyone in smiles. We are ready for a great one tonight.
We take the 30 minute ride to the stadium. We are exactly on time with our arrival. The two hour warm up ritual is on auto pilot. We notice at check in that there is a discrepancy with the line up times but we preserve our 9:35 pm step off. It will be nice to perform under the lights again.
The performance is solid and the staff is pretty happy with how things went. We are becoming more consistant and putting back to back high level performances together.
We send the member coaches and the tractors ahead as the staff is still in critique at BIS (butt in seat) time. We have a 7 hour drive tonight to MN. Every minute of sleep preserved is precious.
