Crossmen announces Daughtrey as Visual Caption Head for 2017
More changes were announced this week for the Crossmen visual program. Blake Daughtrey will take on the role of Visual Caption Head in 2017, joining Andy Ebert who was recently announced as the Visual Designer for 2017. This announcement comes just days before the Design Team and Caption Heads convene in San Antonio for their annual retreat and planning sessions.
Daughtrey rounds out an already outstanding instructional team led by returning 2016 Caption Heads: Tyler Edrington (Color Guard), Josh Brickey (Percussion) and Steve Mason (Brass). “Blake is a great fit for the visual caption head position, with Andy [Ebert] leading the visual design,” said Exec. Director Fred Morrison. “We expect great things from Blake and his team --- all building and expanding on the successes of the corps in 2016.” While some additional staff positions will be announced in the coming weeks and months, the corps is not expected to undergo any additional major changes for 2017.
