Zane Franco  - Instructor

Zane Franco grew up in Western New York where he started his colorguard career in 2009 at Jamestown High School. After marching alto saxophone in the band his freshman year, Zane decided to audition for winterguard that upcoming season. From this first season came his strong passion for the marching arts. He continued to march winterguard at Jamestown High School from 2009-2013, and in 2013 received a WGI A Class Silver Medal. Next, Zane received his Bachelors Degree in Music Education from The State University of New York at Fredonia. While completing his undergraduate degree, Zane furthered his marching arts career at The Cadets. He marched in the CBCCG from 2014-2016. He also continued to give back to his high school program as a technician, choreographer, and show designer for the junior varsity guard.

Zane recently moved to the Atlanta area and is currently earning a graduate music education degree at Georgia State University while teaching BOA Super Regional Finalist The Pride of Mill Creek Marching Band. He is currently marching Paramount World for the 2019 season.
Outside of the marching arts, Zane enjoys drinking coffee, hiking, playing volleyball, and watching movies.
He is beyond grateful for this opportunity and is excited to be joining the Crossmen team for the 2019 season!
