EXPERIENCE CAMPS & WORKSHOPS

A four-day commuter camp at the Crossmen Spring Training Facility. Attendees receive group and one-on-one instruction in conducting, leadership, team building, and problem solving skills from the expert teachers at Contempo Leadership. Drum Majors of all abilities develop the skills needed to take their high school bands to the next level! Participants have the unique opportunity to learn along side the Crossmen Drum Corps and be showcased during the Marching Music eXtravaganza (MMX!) Event!

A one-day commuter camp at the Crossmen Spring Training Facility geared towards teaching all marching band student leaders the necessary skills they need to have a successful marching band season. In association with Contempo Leadership, this camp lets participants observe real-life examples of highly motivated rehearsals, giving them the opportunity to interact with the Crossmen instructional staff & members, all while gaining a greater understanding of how to best serve the needs of their band!

The Crossmen eXperience Day is open to all middle school and high school students. All brass, woodwind, color guard, and percussion students are invited. Participants in the eXperience Day clinic rehearse and perform with the drum corps and learn the important fundamentals in creating a high level of performance. In addition to receiving instruction from our world class staff, campers get to meet other marching band students from around the state and from a variety of backgrounds. Each participant performs along side the Crossmen Drum Corps during the Marching Music eXtravaganza (MMX!) Event!

FUNDRAISING EVENTS

Join us on May 4, 2017, as we participate in The Big Give S.A! This event is a 24-hour day of giving that will take place from midnight to midnight on May 4th!  The purpose of this community-wide giving challenge is to increase public awareness of the impact local nonprofits make in addressing our community‚Äôs social challenges, bring nonprofits and donors together, expand the idea of online giving, connect people to the causes that move them the most and, of course, make giving FUN. In 2016 Crossmen took top honors as the large Arts & Culture organization with the most donations, help us win a number of prizes and continue to shape the lives of young performers and musicians!

Crossmen have partnered with GroupRaise to bring the first of many fundraising dinners! Join us on June 10, 2017 between 7:00 - 11:30 P.M. at The Hoppy Monk in San Antonio for great food and an outstanding drink selection!
