Drew Anderson - Percussion Instruction - Snare

Drew Anderson is a full-time educator of both Social Studies and Percussion. He teaches High School History in Tampa, Florida where he lives with his beautiful Wife, Priscilla, and pampered pup, Parry. He has a Master’s in the Art of Teaching from the University of South Florida. Drew uses the educational philosophies and strategies gained from his studies and his classroom teaching experience in the Marching Arts world.  

Drew’s marching career involved a season at Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps in 2011 and two seasons at The Cadets, aging out in 2013 with the Fred Sanford-winning percussion section. In the WGI world, Drew marched his ageout with Rhythm X in 2014. Following his age-out season, he taught various independent and scholastic ensembles throughout the state of Florida from 2014-2017, including Sun Devils, Marcato and Ancient City Ensemble, where he served as Ensemble Coordinator and Battery Arranger. Drew is currently the Director of Percussion at Seminole HS in Florida, a position he has held since the fall of 2017. Drew also worked with The Colts as snare tech for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. 2019 will be Drew’s third year as snare tech with the Crossmen.
